These coffee beans have been dried within the fruit and as a result, some of the naturally sweetness of the fruit is then transferred into the cup of coffee. These coffee beans are also mostly extracted from the traditional range of Arabica coffee trees which is called bourbon. Santos 2 is traded as Brazil most excellent types of coffee.
If the coffee bean is obtain originally from the bourbon coffee bean trees, then the coffee is labeled as Bourbon Santos 2. The name Santos is obtained from the port name where the coffee beans are usually being shipped. The 2 added at the end of the name of Santos 2, or any type of coffee is the coffee grade and 2 is the topmost grade of Brazil coffee. However, the 2 is normally not included in the menus of specialty coffee stores resulting in which the coffee will simply be presented as Brazil Bourbon Santos or Brazil Santos.
In Brazil, coffee beans grown are being wet-processed in order to create a lighter coffee in a cup. With wet-processed, this coffee bean is being dried with no skins on them other than the pulp from the fruit which is still attached to the beans. The beans will then soaks up the sweetness from the pulp making this Brazil coffee tasted sweet and full of flavor. Very much like the wet-processed is the dry-processed.
